Miranda is 24-years-old and regularly competes herself. She is extremely hard working and enjoys her training with Gubby. She has been working in horses since leaving school and spent 2 years with Mike Winter before coming to us.
Marie had joined us from Sweden, she is 23-years-old and loves her work with horses. She is a keen rider, natural horsewoman and always a pleasure to have around.
Andrew is from New Zealand, but he has been in the UK for many years. He is a hugely talented and well-respected farrier who we are very lucky to have as a fundamental part of our team.
Martin looks after all the horse’s teeth on the yard.
Sue is an equine vet with a special interest in identifying and treating any source of pain in her patients. She is interested in every aspect of their care and uses acupuncture and chiropractic to detect and treat minor injuries before they affect the horses performance, thus maintaining their well-being and allowing them to continue to perform optimally.
Gubby’s wife Sarah is also an Equine Bowen Therapist and enjoys helping the horses feel at their best. Equine Bowen Therapy is a gentle, non-intrusive remedial treatment that works the muscles, ligaments, tendons and fascia layer to promote healing, pain relief and physical realignment. Bowen treats the whole body, rebalancing wherever necessary. It is great for keeping performance horses in good shape and minimizing the risk of serious injuries.
Partner & FEI Permitted Treating Vet
Hani is another important member of our team, she keeps her event horse with us and has regular training with Gubby so we are lucky to have her on the yard most days. Hani graduated from Cambridge University in 2001 and joined the Endell Veterinary Group equine team in 2008, becoming a partner in 2014. Her areas of interest include equine sports medicine, lameness investigation and diagnostic imaging and she has a Certificate in Equine Surgery-Orthopaedics.
